Tough defeat in Podbrezová
ŠK Slovan Bratislava lost to Podbrezová 0:2.
Slovan started better and had a good chance soon. Schet sent ball to Priskin, who´s header missed the target. Podbrezová answered by two dangerous shots by Peševski, Mucha made two great saves. First half didn´t bring many opportunities. Probably the best one came in 24th minute, when Schet sent a nice shot from middle area and Kuciak blocked it to the corner.
Our team opened second half with two good chances. Firstly, Priskin missed the target by huge shot from the penalty area line. In 55th minute, Kubík sent nice pass to Priskin, who was alone in front of Kuciak and hit the crossbar. Since this moment, Podbrezová took momentum. Mucha saved after shot by Podio and he blocked Vajda´s header. However, in 78th minute, Podio sent pass to our penalty area and Šafranko hit it to the net – 1:0. In the end of match, Slovan created small pressure without goal opportunities. Home team performed good breakaway, Kochan passed ball to Breznaník, who scored to the empty net – 2:0.
