Slovan signed a four-year contract with young player Vukan Savičevič from Red Star Belgrade
ŠK Slovan Bratislava signed a four-year contract with young player Vukan Savičevič, who is also a member of the Montenegro national team.
ŠK Slovan is close to enter into a contract with another attractive reinforcement. Twenty one years old midfielder Vukan Savičevič, who spent his entire actual career in Red Star Belgrade just arrived to Bratislava.
„We had a successful meeting with the player and his former club on Wednesday. We have signed a contract with both of them. With Vukan, we agreed on a four-year contract. The only missing thing is right now a registration through TMS system and international transfer certificate of the player from the Serbian football association,“ says the vice president of Slovan Ivan Kmotrík ml.
Vukan Savičevič is a native of Belgrade and in addition to his Serbian citizenship, he is also a citizen of Montenegro. He was part of youth national team of both countries. Currently he is a member of wider squad of senior national team of Montenegro.
„As we have annoucend after the arrival of Mauro Gonzalez, we wanted to acquire one more player, who is Vukan. He is a talented central midfielder and we have observed him for a longer time. We wanted to bring him to Slovan in winter, but we couldn’t agree with terms of Red Star Belgrade on the amount of severance pay. Now it worked out. We have seen Vukan recently during first two matches of the first preliminary round of the European League against Kairat Almaty, our scout watched his performances also in Serbian league. Therefore, we are not making any leap in the dark and we believe that Savičevič shall be a valid reinforcement for our team,“ said vice president of Slovan.
According to words of Ivan Kmotrík ml., Slovan is not planning any other transfers during the summer transfer period: „Our squad is closed on arrivals at the moment. However, we some players shall leave Slovan on the basis of loan, or by a transfer. We are currently working on this.“
