Triumph in the competition of twenty teams
ŠK Slovan Bratislava team U11 won Visegrad Cup.
ŠK Slovan Bratislava team U11 won the third edition of the tournament Visegrad Cup in Kravaře near Opava. Oldest sky blue preparatory team was successful in challenging competition of twenty teams from the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Hungary and Austria.
For total triumph, players of Slovan Bratislava needed to play fourteen games, ich which they had wonderful balance of eleven wins, two draws and one lost with total score of 50:8. Our goalkeeper Maximilián Marko was announced as a best goalkeeper on the tournament.
„We are very glad that we were able to gain first place, but what makes us even more proud is the way in which we presented on such a high quality tournament. Several of our games had really high quality. For instance games against Praha, Admiroa Wacker or Žilina were very difficult and our young players learned a lot. I am proud that our young talents showed their skills and also their desire for victory,“ said the couch of our winning team Michal Kováč.
