Fifth home defeat in row against Myjava
Slovan Bratislava lost against Spartak Myjava 1:2.
Slovan has played against Spartak Myjava in eight round of Fortuna league. Our coach Ivan Vukomanovič missed injured players Kotula and Priskin. The beginning of the game was as a bad dream for Slovan. After four minutes, Kolár had much space in penalty area and scored after two attempts – 0:1. Slovan had higher possession and more activity, however, without any scoring chances. Just Filip Oršula sent a good shot from the penalty area and it was blocked to the corner.
The second half started with our higher activity. However, de Kamps and Soumah missed the net from good positions. In 54th minute, two Myjava´ s players performed breakaway and Kolár scored his second goal of the game – 0:2. Ivan Vukomanovič reacted with two substitutions, Čavrič and Cleber came to the pitch. Cleber had big chance soon, he was alone in front of Hruška, however, he hit the Myjava´s goalie. In 66th minute, Čavrič created the action in penalty area and Mehremič blocked his pass by hand. Soumah scored from penalty, he shot the ball to left down corner – 1:2. Slovan created pressure and had possibilities to equalize. Kubík had the biggest one opportunity, but he missed target by nice shot from penalty area. In last seconds, Rigo tried it by header and Hruška saved the ball. So, Slovan lost fifth home game in row against Myjava.
