Slovan passed to quarterfinals of Slovnaft Cup
Slovan Bratislava has won 1:0 in Veľké Ludince and passed to domestic cup´s quarterfinals. Aleksandar Čavrič scored the winning goal.
Slovan has played in Veľké Ludince in another round of Slovnaft Cup. Our team had more ball possession and was more active during whole match. First chance came after twenty minutes, when Vernon sent a good shoot from penalty area and Benkó blocked it. In 38th minute, Kubík sent a ball to the penalty area and Čavrič hit it to the right upper corner – 0:1. Scott could increase our lead in the end of the first half, however, he missed the target by a few centimeters.
Second half was similar as first with pressure of Slovan. In 60th minute, Čavrič shot from the free kick and missed target by a few centimeters. Veľké Ludince had two shots from the middle area, Krnáč hadn´t any bigger problem. In the end of the game, Priskin was running alone against home net and Benkó blocked it by left leg.
